Keoladeo National Park- Egyptian Vultures

The Egyptian vulture (Neophron percnopterus), also called the white scavenger vulture or pharaoh’s chicken is found from the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa  to India. Egyptian vulture was worshiped by pharaohs in Egypt because of its ability to remove garbage and remaining of dead animals. For this reason, Egyptian vulture is  known as Pharaoh’s Chicken too.
